Nice interview! I really love the music of Heilung & Maria Franz, so learning a bit more about her adds a bit of depth to my appreciation. When she said she listens to a Finnish Swedish folk band did she say "Hedningarna"? I couldn't quite hear what she said. P.S. Maria's singing on Krigsgaldr is truly out of this world. You can see her breathing & moving in alignment with the deep spiritual energy flow of the vocals. Then when she turns to look at the camera its a moment of sublime intensity. Saw Elliott Smith in 1997 in San Fransciso and have been hooked ever since. I'll never forget the first time I heard his music and who interduced him to me. Pitseleh is one of my favorites.
